I consider myself as having two jobs: First, I am a Texas, USA, school teacher, and second, I am ranked as a professional mountain biker and I continually compete in long-distance riding and running events throughout the United States.
I have decided to use this site to see if I can meet a nice and adventurous woman because meeting a truly nice, genuine, and adventurous American girl is extremely difficult, and American women are also very difficult to get along with. I have never been married, and I have no children, but I do have a ten-year-old dog who is basically like my child :) As you can read from my profile, I stay very active, and I take very good care of myself physically. I love the outdoors: I am continuously competing in marathon running, long-distance cycling, and I love to hike, camp, and go for long walks with my dog. American women do not take good care of themselves physically, many of them are overweight, and they are not very active outdoors. And, the younger American women especially love to party and drink. And, I do not drink, or smoke, or party. I'd rather spend my time having fun by being with a girl that I really like, and for the two of us to be active outside doing something together. Therefore, as you can tell, it is very difficult for me to meet a woman here in the United States who shares my same type of lifestyle.
As far as my cycling and running goes, I've raced against Lance Armstrong, Olympic medal winners, and some of the best guys and girls out there, but when it comes down to it, I'm just thankful that I can get up in the morning, put both feet on the floor, and move on my own . . . I know that I've been blessed with a healthy mind and body, and I don't want to take them for granted. And to be honest, I've finally caught myself skipping out on good training days to lay on the couch and watch movies with my dog.
I've traveled all across the USA in the past few years racing, and it'd just be sweet to have an adventurours girl to travel with and who wouldn't mind tossing me a water bottle every once in awhile out on the course. You don't have to ride a bike yourself or even understand what makes me want to ride a bike and run so much (because hey, I don't even get it), but as long as you dig a little adventure and kicking it out there in the rough with me and my dog . . . Well, could there be anything better than that??? When I'm not training, I love being lazy and just laying on the couch all day watching movies with my dog . . . Or, I could watch movies all weekend long at the theater.
So, basically, I'm just trying to find a girl who enjoys taking care of herself physically, who loves being active, especially outside, and who is always motivated to make herself better. Also, I hope to find a Christian girl who has morals, and who takes pride in upholding and living by her faith . . . It is important to me to find a woman who believes in God.
